With a view to motivate and guide students for competitive exams, the Career and Counseling Cell of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad today organized a one-day Career Guidance Fair in the University premise. The Career Guidance Fair held at University’s Multipurpose Convention Hall was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar. He lauded the efforts made by Career Counseling Cell to organise Career fair and to provide a good platform to students to choose their career options by bringing all the stakeholders and career experts at one place. The academic environment and ethos of J.C. Bose University concentrated on overall grooming, confidence-building and personality development of students, he added. Dr. Arvind Gupta, Head, Career and Counseling Cell was also present on this occasion. Dr. Arvind Gupta expressed his satisfaction over the successful execution of the career fair and stated that it has met its objectives by providing wide range of career options to students of the University. The event was coordinated and successfully conducted by Mr. Bharat Bhushan, Ms. Ashlesha, Dr. Manvi, Dr. Neha and Sh. Atma Ram, members of Career and Counselling Cell. The Career fair provided an insight to various career options for the students which include focus on higher studies, personality development and competitive exams. More than 15 academic institutions and training institutes for competitive exams set up their stalls at the Career fair and offered guidance and training opportunities to the University’s students. More than three thousand students attended the fair to find a career best suited for them based on their aspirations and aptitude.
